US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice says she cannot recall former CIA chief George Tenet warning her of an impending al-Qaeda attack in the United States, as a new book claims he did two months before the attacks on September 11, 2001.

“What I am quite certain of is that I would remember if I was told, as this account apparently says, that there was about to be an attack in the United States, and the idea that I would somehow have ignored that I find incomprehensible,” Dr Rice said on Monday.

I love how convenient it is for this adminstration to claim it CAN’T REMEMBER things. They DON’T DENY IT…just can’t remember…like where the WMDs are in Iraq or where Bin Laden is/was/will be. The other claim this administration likes is that they are/were UNAWARE of things. This is the most clueless government in all history on this planet…and probably in the universe.
