Seems there are more terrorists hanging around school grounds than airports…perhaps we need to bring TSA and Homeland Security to schools NEAR YOU!

Report: Abramoff team had 485 contacts with White House

http://www.cnn.com/2006/POLITICS/09/29/abramoff.wh.ap/index.html

WASHINGTON (AP) — Jack Abramoff had hundreds of contacts with White House officials, but they brought mixed results for the convicted lobbyist’s clients, according to a congressional report.

The draft report of the House Government Reform Committee said the documents — largely Abramoff’s billing records and e-mails — listed 485 lobbying contacts with White House officials over three years, including 10 with top Bush aide Karl Rove.

Abramoff and associates were successful in getting appropriations for some of their Indian clients, but efforts to influence presidential appointments and nominations “were often not successful,” according to the report, obtained Thursday.

Abramoff must be boring beyond belief! No one in the White House seems to remember the guy…for 485 times no one seems to remember the guy. I LOVE THE PART about his influence on appropriations, “were often not successful”…so that is suppose to make me feel what?!?! AND George Bush as usual was unaware of Abramoff. At least Bush is consistent!

Republican Congressman quits after messages to teens found

http://www.cnn.com/2006/POLITICS/09/29/congressman.e.mails/index.html

WASHINGTON (CNN) — Republican Rep. Mark Foley resigned Friday from the House after sexually explicit instant message conversations with teenage congressional pages attributed to him surfaced.

I am starting to feel sorry for the conservatives…for a party of conservative values, they sure seem to have no moral values that go with them. Some one should start a scoreboard of Republicans vs. Democrats being kicked out of Congress. Aren’t the Republican into double digits yet? Gotta love this country…all this and no one (voters) seem to question the values vs. behavior of the so call leaders. What the world doesn’t realize how FEW of the eligible voters of the 300,000,000 Americans actually vote, AND if you don’t vote but are eligible NO ONE CARES WHAT YOU THINK OR FEEL.

Rumsfeld: No one anticipated insurgency’s strength

http://www.cnn.com/2006/US/09/28/rumsfeld.profile/index.html

(CNN) — Donald Rumsfeld’s Iraqi war plan worked beautifully for three weeks. U.S. troops quickly deposed Saddam Hussein and captured Baghdad with a relatively small force and with lightning speed.

But with Iraq on the verge of civil war three years later, the secretary of defense now admits that no one was well-prepared for what would happen after major combat ended.

Yep, nice all encompassing statement! “No one”…not one person on the planet…not one person in the US. Well, now that everything is on the table, I feel much better about invading countries. Thanks George…you are certainly are an inspiration to young retarded kids that want to be president/king some day! At least I know Bush will never read my scriblings. I hear he has THE BIBLE ON TAPE.

House approves wiretap law before hitting campaign trail

http://www.cnn.com/2006/POLITICS/09/28/congress.eavesdropping.ap/index.html

WASHINGTON (AP) — The House approved a bill Thursday that would grant legal status to President Bush’s warrantless wiretapping program with new restrictions. Republicans called it a test before the election of whether Democrats want to fight or coddle terrorists.

Obiwan Bush, Help me understand why you and your party are not pushing HARDER to CANCEL THE BILL OF RIGHTS!?!? You know they are NOTHING but an impediment to your rule. PLEASE SOMEONE, tell me why the Republican Party (with the help of the Democrats) doesn’t “lose” the Bill of Rights. Just DO IT…taking it down one part at a time is painful for EVERYONE on both sides of the concern. After they are gone then you can make short work of the Constitution and those PESKY Supreme Court Justices!!!! Perhaps we could create a movement to SUPPORT the rest of the destruction of America as we knew it. GO GOP (and demos)!

GM exec: We need more new Hummers

With sales up, brand needs broader portfolio of products, says GM VP at Paris Hummer dealer.

Is it “we” the people or “we” the money grabbing vampires set on using every resource on the planet for no good reason, bent on warming the planet to keep us warm in the winter and creating a market for no socially redeemable reason. Thank the Christian God we live in a time when what the people really need and want doesn’t enter the equation.

I am sure most earthlings feel the need for more hummers! Bring them on…the quicker you do the quicker you can declare bankrupcy!

Locust plague encircles Mexico’s Cancun resort

http://www.cnn.com/2006/WORLD/americas/09/26/mexico.locusts.reut/index.html

MEXICO CITY (Reuters) — Clouds of locusts have descended around the Mexican beach resort of Cancun, destroying corn crops and worrying officials in a region still recovering from the devastating fury of last year’s Hurricane Wilma.

US Homeland Security suggests Mexico is a training camp for terrorist locusts bent on attacking inside the US! The White House released a statement saying only that “President Bush was unaware, as usual.” Homeland Security is suggesting the protective border wall being constructed may have to me increase to a height of 5 thousand feet to keep the locust out.

NYC eyes ban on restaurant trans fats

http://www.cnn.com/2006/HEALTH/09/26/trans.fat.ban.ap/index.html

NEW YORK (AP) — Three years after the city banned smoking in restaurants, health officials are talking about prohibiting something they say is almost as bad: artificial trans fatty acids.

Today Trans Fatty Acids…tomorrow GUNS! Where and when will it end…oh the inhumanity!

Acts like non-combatant, looks like non-combatant…must be non-combatant

http://www.cnn.com/2006/US/09/26/dc.protests/index.html

WASHINGTON (CNN) — Two Presbyterian ministers were among 71 people arrested during a series of peaceful protests against the Iraq war Tuesday, said a spokeswoman for a group participating in the protests.

Demonstrators held sit-ins, prayer services and sing-alongs at four locations in the Capitol complex, including the central atrium of the Senate Hart Office Building.

The demonstrations were reminiscent of the Vietnam era, with protesters strumming guitars, singing peace songs, holding flowers and wearing hats made of balloons.

Senate staffers watched the demonstrators from their offices. Protesters said that several workers gave them a thumbs-up or other signs of approval.

“We are trying to protest a lack of civil liberties and to try and end a war culture,” said protester Alex Bryan of New York.

off to Guantanamo, enjoy the change of pace! The complete demise of both polar ice caps will be here sooner than the “end of a war culture”.

Teddy bear is a killer

http://www.cnn.com/2006/US/09/26/killer.teddy.ap/index.html

MILFORD, New Hampshire (AP) — A teddy bear has been implicated in 2,500 deaths — trout deaths, that is.

State officials say a teddy bear that fell into a pool at a Fish and Game Department hatchery earlier this month clogged a drain. The clog blocked the flow of oxygen to the pool and suffocated the fish.

Bill says: Don’t think for a minute that Osama BearLaden wasn’t behind these senseless attacks! I know terrorism when I see it thanks to Bush’s Homeland Security directives. I hear the administration is secretly building internment camps for stuffed animals somewhere out in the desolate south west US. There have also been reports of Teddy Bears being held in secret prisons in the former EU I mean current EU…I am getting ahead of the Bush administration’s public plans.
